Wayne Toups is easily one of the most influential Cajun musicians of our time. His energetic and innovative ZydeCajun renditions of both traditional and original music captured our attention as early as the 1980s, when he burst onto the scene with a rousing performance at Festivals Acadiens, after years of apprenticeship in the area's dance halls.
